Advisory Analytics Manager – EMEA

Aon exists to build decisions for the better — safeguarding and enriching the lives of people around the world. Our colleagues provide our clients in over 120 countries with advice and solutions that give them the clearness and confidence to make better decisions to protect and grow their business.

Our Analytics Team helps organisations make better workforce decisions by applying quantitative methods, statistical analysis, and sophisticated people analytics across human capital, compensation, and talent topics. Part of our work is supporting clients on compensation fairness, clearness in remuneration, and reward equity. We also help HR professionals and business leaders understand broader workforce dynamics and link talent outcomes to business performance.

Our division is a fast-growing area of advisory work: we combine Aon’s proprietary datasets with client data to answer strategic questions using meticulous analytical techniques, including pay equity modelling, segmentation, benchmarking, predictive modelling, driver analysis, and workforce diagnostics related to reward, talent acquisition, deployment, retention, workforce planning, and business performance.

Core Responsibilities

methodology selection, model development, validation, and interpretation of results across topics such as pay equity, pay transparency, workforce planning, reward analytics, and predictive people analytics.
- Synthesise sophisticated quantitative outputs into clear narratives, translating statistical findings, pay equity diagnostics, model results, and benchmark comparisons into practical implications and recommendations for HR and organizational decision-makers.
- Build analytically robust solutions to client issues by defining the data strategy, analytical framework, control factors where relevant, modelling approach, and required outputs, while balancing technical depth with commercial feasibility.
- Demonstrate commercial leadership by understanding and interpreting client requirements related to compensation fairness, incentives, employee base, and people analytics. Craft these problems into compelling client proposals.

Qualifications and experience that will lead to success

As a Senior Analytics Consultant, your skills and experience will ideally include:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Statistics, Data Science, Economics,

Mathematics; postgraduate training in analytics is profitable.
- Experience with statistical methods and analytical techniques, such as regression analysis, hypothesis testing, segmentation, trend analysis.
- Hands‑on experience working with large and complicated HR, reward, compensation, and workforce datasets, ideally using Python, R, SQL, or analogous tools for data manipulation, analysis, and quality assurance.
- Significant experience delivering analytical work in consulting and/or corporate analytics environments, ideally in pay equity, compensation, workforce, HR, or people analytics, with exposure to sophisticated client datasets and multi‑country contexts.
- Strong capability in data visualisation, dashboarding, and insight communication, including tools such as Tableau or Power BI, demonstrating skill in distilling pay equity, reward, and workforce analyses into clear and decision‑useful outputs.
- A meticulous and curious analytical mind, with strong attention to detail, good judgement on data limitations, and a proactive approach to solving technically and commercially intricate problems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical methods, findings, and limitations clearly to non‑technical interested parties and senior audiences.

The expected salary for the role is within an indicative range of €46,300.00 - €69,500.00, based on the candidate's experience and seniority.
