You’ll be empowered to lead, collaborate, and make a real impact in the lives of our clients. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliEffectively execute strategy on all cases for which you are the responsible attorney, or those assigned to you by the Managing Attorney, from inception through settlement and closure. /liliAssume responsibility for the competent provision of mediation and legal services, including drafting settlement agreements, prenuptial agreements, client memos, and status updates. /liliWork with other members of the legal team to develop case strategy and provide direction to paralegals and legal assistants. /liliServe as the principal contact between the firm and clients on assigned cases, advising them on their legal rights, obligations, and best interests. /liliGather and organize financial information and create financial reports. /liliAnalyze case-specific issues and documentation,
and conduct legal and other research as needed. /liliMove cases through the process in accordance with goals and established milestones. /liliFoster and maintain excellent rapport with clients through consistent communication, providing information on the firm’s behalf and responding to their questions. /liliTrack and record time daily on client matters and administrative tasks. /liliPrepare memoranda and reports to ensure accurate documentation of the file. /liliDemonstrate strong communication and problem-solving skills to work effectively with staff and clients at all levels. /liliEnsure all CLEs are completed prior to license renewal deadlines and that bar license remains in good standing. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliJD from an accredited law school. /liliAdmitted and in good standing with the NY State Bar. /lili3-7 years of experience in family law. /liliMediation certification and strong mediation experience. /liliCollaborative Divorce certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire). /liliTrust and Estates experience (2–3 years) is a plus. /li /ulh3Compensation /h3p$130,000–$175,000 base salary plus performance bonuses. /ph3We Offer /h3ulliCompetitive salary commensurate with experience. /liliPerformance-based bonuses. /liliProfit sharing and 401(k) after 6 months. /liliSupportive and collaborative work environment. /liliOpportunities for professional development and advancement. /liliEmployer-paid health insurance with employee cost-sharing. /liliPTO and holiday pay. /li /ulpThe firm is an Equal Opportunity Employer, a drug-free workplace, and complies with ADA regulations as applicable. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
