PRODUCT DESIGNER
The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the continuous improvement of the quality of
technical activities (feasibility studies and design) and related outputs, by carrying out coaching actions for team members and
by participating in project progress meetings, promoting and verifying the execution of feasibility studies.
RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES
Ensure technical support for design activities. Collaborate with the team in the development of projects,
guaranteeing accuracy in both 2D and 3D design, and contributing to the definition of formal and functional solutions. Identify effective production solutions.
Support in client management. Participate in meetings with clients, actively listening and asking relevant questions to
guide them toward the most effective and cost efficient work plans.
Autonomous management of areas of responsibility. Independently coordinate small design challenges lasting from 1 to 5 days
within larger projects, or manage small scale projects, ensuring execution within timelines and according to company standards, while coordinating suppliers.
Graphic development. Produce sketches and work in progress renderings for internal discussions, supporting the team in the visual communication of design ideas.
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
Education. Degree in Industrial Design or related fields.
Experience. Experience in projects covering the entire design process,
from defining stakeholder needs to the prototyping phase.
Technical design. Strong competence in 2D and 3D design, with deep knowledge of tools and software required to complete design activities.
Development of design solutions. Ability to conceptualize formal and functional design directions without the need for supervision.
Writing and communication. Ability to write clearly, expressively, and concisely, without the need for revision.
Languages. Fluent English, with the ability to communicate in professional contexts and present to small groups.
Judgment and autonomy. Ability to identify obstacles and opportunities and propose solutions independently.
Coordination. Collaboration with the team to improve the overall quality of project work and provide support to colleagues.
Leadership. Ability to defend design choices and support junior designers.
Ownership. Autonomous definition of work direction and proactive request for check ins when necessary.
Communication. Key contribution to project planning and external representation with minimal support.
Feedback. Openness to feedback aimed at improvement, and ability to provide constructive feedback to junior designers to enhance their knowledge and skills.
Contribution. Expression of a strong design point of view, with flexibility to incorporate others’ ideas and improve the overall project outcome.
