Within the Space Division, we are looking for an Electro-Optical Sensor System Engineer (Electrical and Functional) for our Campi Bisenzio (FI) office. Within the EO Sensor System Engineering area, the person will be responsible for defining the electrical and functional architecture of space electro-optical payloads,



managing their interfaces and supporting the internal design of electronic units. They will be responsible for defining and managing telecommands, telemetries and operational procedures for the instrument. They will supervise HW/SW integration, ensuring its validation and conducting functional system tests. The person will be involved in the development of electro-optical instrumentation (spectrometers, radiometers, navigation cameras or attitude sensors) for remote sensing applications, both in Earth observation and scientific exploration, for the main missions developed by national and international agencies, in a commercial or dual context.
Responsibilities
Definition of the electrical and functional architecture of the electro-optical payload and management of interfaces between the various electronic units
