We are seeking an Equity and Certificates Trader based in Milano, Italy, to strengthen our Global Markets line.
Main Tasks / Key Responsibilities
Trading activities on Certificates and Equity products, focusing on Liquidity Provider and Specialist roles
Monitoring operational flows and application environments
Collaborating with technical and operational teams to optimize processes for the Certificates asset class
Ensuring strong English language proficiency
Must Have
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Management/Financial Engineering, or related disciplines (e.g., electronic engineering with IT focus, data science, cybersecurity)
Knowledge of the structure and functioning of regulated electronic financial markets
Understanding of digital transaction management processes (e.g., payment systems,
clearing, transactional protocols)
Strong decision‐making and problem‐solving skills, especially under high pressure
Proactivity, technical curiosity, and a willingness to continuously learn
At least 5 years of experience in trading
Nice to Have
Knowledge of programming fundamentals, algorithms, and data structures
Understanding of operating systems, networks, and computer architectures
Familiarity with databases, SQL, and distributed systems
Strong analytical and modeling skills
Basic knowledge of cybersecurity, communication protocols, and management systems
Employment Terms
The position is governed by the Italian Banking Collective Agreement (CCNL Credito). The starting gross annual salary is €60,000, with potential variable components based on performance.
