Overview
DXC Technology is looking for a Database Administrator Expert to join the Cloud & Infrastructure team.
Responsibilities
- Proven experience in operational management and performance tuning of databases, with end-to-end technical ownership of the database environment, from design to implementation.
- Strong skills in backup/restore strategies and service continuity support.
- Ability to monitor and troubleshoot performance issues, including the resolution of complex technical problems on database systems and platforms.
- Experience collaborating with infrastructure teams for application integration, and direct interface with clients and technical teams for requirements gathering and solution validation.
- Technical guidance and support for junior/mid team members, contributing to the definition of technical standards and best practices within the team.
- Availability to contribute to the hiring process through technical assessments during interviews.

- Team player mindset and ability to manage tasks and priorities independently,



with strong problem-solving skills and effective communication with clients and technical teams.

- Oracle Golden Gate
- Oracle DataGuard
- MySQL
- MongoDB
- Cassandra
- PostgreSQL
- Experience with Generative AI tools is a plus

Location
Rome with lavoro da remoto possibility
