Overview:
Responsible for overall daily administration of the procurement - purchase department and its functions including accurate and timely reporting of the financials along with the daily performance reports in close co-operation with various departments **Responsibilities**: - Responsable for smooth acquisition of goods and services needed for operations by: - Analyzing market trends and managing a strong negotiation to ensure best prices, terms for requisition and delivery
- Coordinating with internal departments to assess procurement needs
- Guaranteeing profitability and cost-effectively operating
- Manages purchase orders and maintains relationship with suppliers
- Implement and oversee inventory control procedures to optimize stock leverls
- Resolves issues related to shipment errors, quality discrepancies and invoice mismatches
- Oversight of accounting staff referred to training and development concerning the procurment process, software and best practices
- Assistance with monitoring,
assessing and maintaining internal controls and corporate policies and procedures to meet deadlines and to achieve operational goals
- Supports management to assist in controlling costs within the budget and forecast
- Perform monthly report
- Prepare and assist with Monthly Forecasting
- Assist with completion of annual budgeting process
- Assist with internal and external audits Qualifications: - Must have strong organizational skills and very good knowledge of Italian and English language to be able to compete the high level of interaction with vendors, internal stakeholders, team members; excellent verbal and written skills
- Education and/or experience in business administration and development, supply chain managment or related field
- Knowledge of or experience with Microsoft Office, procurement software
- Must handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
