Join Industrial Sales Italy and contribute to the development of the national market across OEM, End User, and Distributor, delivering integrated SKF solutions.
As an Application Engineer with SKF Industrial Sales Italy, you serve as the technical point of contact for assigned customers and determine the most appropriate product or tailor‑made solution to meet specific customer needs.
After onboarding and initial training, as Junior AE you will be mainly responsible for:
Prepare and conduct technical discussions with customers.
Build strong relationships with customers’ technical and commercial teams, understanding their needs and priorities, and supporting collaboration through expertise and innovation.
Analyze customer specifications, design and develop engineering proposals, and optimize applications through in‑depth studies and SKF calculation tools.
Work with SKF specialists across key technical areas,
especially product engineering and product development.
Support Sales by preparing the technical content of proposals and aligning customer requirements with SKF strategy and capabilities.
Coordinate, with the support of senior Application Engineers, the design of complex integrated solutions.
Perform root cause analysis of bearing failures to propose corrective actions and optimize application performance.
Represent SKF through customer visits, presentations, seminars, and trade fairs.
Required skills
Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent technical experience)
Good time management skills and ability to deliver effective solutions within tight timelines.
Effective communication skills; proficiency in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
Ability and interest to work in multifunctional and international teams.
Customer-oriented mindset with an ability to guide technical discussions.
