**A day in the Life**: - Ensure timely and effective delivery of technical support, maintenance, upgrade and repair services for our installed base.
- Coordinate the installation planning for our in vitro diagnostics systems in customer labs.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers - understanding their needs and addressing these promptly and expertly.
- Support the team, leading efforts to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, providing solutions that meet customer requirements.
- Provide support for public tenders and other revenue-generating activities, providing technical expertise.
- Reporting: Prepare and reports on field service activities, proactively monitor and act on key performance metrics.
- Manage local inventory levels of spare parts and consumables
- Collaborate closely with key partners across the business, including Global Services,
Sales and Marketing, Quality Assurance, and Logistics.
- Implement and maintain quality procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies **Keys to Success**:
**Education**
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., biomedical engineering, clinical laboratory science) **Experience**
- Strong technical knowledge of in vitro diagnostics equipment
- Experience in project management, including planning, scheduling, and resource prioritization is desirable **Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**
- Proven track record of leading field-based service teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong technical proficiency, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Fluency in Italian and English - written and verbal. **Physical Requirements / Work Environment**
