**INTEGRATED CASEWORKER I/II/III**
- (one vacancy)_ **Alpine County Health and Human Services | Markleeville, CA** **ICW I: Salary Range 40B: $23.89 - $29.04/per hour** **ICW II: Salary Range 42B: $26.30 - $31.97/per hour** **ICW III: Salary Range 43B: $27.65 - $33.62/per hour** **Final filing date: Thursday, May 22, 2025 by 11:59pm** **Integrated Caseworker I -**APPLY HERE** Working under close supervision, Integrated Case Worker I is the entry level of the Integrated Case Worker series. Employees in this class attend training sessions and work under close supervision to learn regulations, work procedures, forms, and public assistance and/or employment program requirements. After the initial orientation and training period, on-the-job experience is provided until the employee attains and demonstrates the level of competency necessary for promotion to the working level of Integrated Case Worker II. Employees are expected to promote to Integrated Case Worker II after one year of satisfactory performance at the entry level. **Minimum Qualifications**:
**Pattern 1**: One (1) year of full-time experience as an Eligibility Specialist II or Social Worker I. OR **Pattern 2**: Six (6) months of full-time experience as an Eligibility Specialist II; AND completion of the equivalent of 15 semester (22.5 quarter) units or 15 continuing education credits in behavioral science in sociology, psychology, counseling, vocational guidance or any coursework related to the provision of employment services. This required coursework may be obtained through colleges, universities, university extension, business schools, or employer provided career development. OR **Pattern 3**: One (1) year of full-time experience with responsibility for performing case management, vocational guidance services,



employment counseling or placement work; AND completion of the equivalent of 15 semester (22.5 quarter) units or 15 continuing education credits in behavioral science in sociology, psychology, counseling, vocational guidance or any coursework related to the provision of employment services. This required coursework may be obtained through colleges, universities, university extension, business schools, or employer provided career development. OR **Pattern 4**: Eighteen (18) months of full-time experience with responsibility for performing case management, vocational guidance services, employment counseling or placement work. OR **Pattern 5**: A bachelor's degree in behavioral science in sociology, psychology, counseling, vocational guidance or any related field that includes coursework related to the provision of employment services. **Note**: Qualifying experience must have included duties and responsibilities involving assessment of income and/or other qualifications needed to participate in programs. **Integrated Caseworker II -**APPLY HERE** Working under general supervision, Integrated Case Worker II is the journey working level in the Integrated Case Worker series. Employees at this level are expected to independently determine eligibility for multiple public assistance programs, provide basic employment services, and perform integrated case management.



Positions in this class are flexibly staffed and are normally filled by advancement from the lower level of Integrated Case Worker I, or if filled from the outside, require prior related experience. **Minimum Qualifications** **Pattern 1**:One (1) year of full-time experience as an Integrated Case Worker I. OR **Pattern 2**: Two (2) years of full-time experience performing vocational guidance services, employment counseling or placement work; AND completion of the equivalent of 15 semester (22.5 quarter) units or 15 continuing education credits in behavioral science in sociology, psychology, counseling, vocational guidance or any coursework related to the provision of employment services. This required coursework may be obtained through colleges, universities, university extension, business school, or employer provided career development training. OR **Pattern 3**:Thirty (30) months of full-time experience performing vocation guidance services, employment counseling or placement work. OR **Pattern 4**: A bachelor's degree in a behavioral science (psychology, sociology, social work, counseling, vocational guidance), education, business/public administration or a closely related field or a field that is closely related to the provision of employment services; AND six months experience performing vocational guidance, employment counseling or placement services. **Note**: Qualifying experience must have included duties and responsibilities involving assessment of income and/or other qualifications needed to participate in programs. **Integrated Caseworker III -**APPLY HERE** Under general supervision, provides expert advice to case carrying staff to assist in the provision of a variety of public assistance benefits and employment services; assists in the manage
