We are looking for a Ship Planner. This will be a junior position to train and develop within the company, and in the future, the person will be asked to be available to cover emergency weekend work. The **Ship Planner** is a key professional in port logistics and maritime transportation, responsible for planning and managing the loading and unloading operations of goods on board ships. They work closely with port terminals, vessel management teams, and logistics operators to optimize space utilization on board, ensure cargo safety, and minimize the ships' time in port. The Ship Planner creates and updates stowage plans, taking into account variables such as weight, cargo type, discharge sequence, and safety regulations. **Tasks**: - Prepare stowage plans and send loading instructions to the ship and local agents.
- Provide to line managers stowage tests to maximize the loading
- Coordination with the liner manager in charge to maximize the ship's utilization and provide information about the best cargo split and ship rotation.
- Communicate and coordinate with the ship and local agents (or terminal) to ensure the loading is carried out according to our needs and the ship's requirements,



checking any revised plans from the captain.
- Manage together with the Captain/Ch. Mate any changes to the stowage plan, if needed.
- File conversion for both terminals, agents and Vessels.
- Check terminal pre dep plans to ensure they follow our instructions
- Check departure files received from the terminal and send arrival condition to next port.
- Vessels schedule distribution.
- collaborate with each port agent to receive correct and detailed loading list files as per agreed deadline
- Keep monitored vessel positions and schedules
- Upload and check the correctness of lists loaded on IT system (BOX) and close them for billing. **Skills**:
Nautical institute diploma or equivalent studies fluent English both written and spoken ability to work in a team organizational skills reliability respect for deadlines We offer an initial internship period with a strong possibility of confirmation, on-site work. Durata contratto: 6 mesi Retribuzione: €500,00 al mese
