Needs to conduct analysis of survival data by Cox regression and Kaplan-Meier curves and meta-analyses of case/control studies and is able to use statistical tools and programming languages such as STATA or R.
- Will perform annotation, prioritization and clinical interpretation (classification) of pathogenicity of genetic variants detected by WES/WGS.
- Has to be familiar with online databases such as UCSC Genome Browser, ClinVar, ClinGen, VarSome, BRCA Exchange, and gnomAD.
- Has a good knowledge of the English language, is reliable, with strong commitment to research and has excellent communication skills and strong attitude toward team work. The European Institute of Oncology is one of Europe’s most influential cancer research institutes. The IEO operates as a Comprehensive Cancer Center, linking fundamental and applied research to clinical activities, patient care and clinical trials.
