Position Summary

Pharmacovigilance Specialist (VIE contract) in Milan, Italy. The role is part of Sanofi's Patient Safety & Pharmacovigilance team and focuses on ensuring compliance with global, regional, and local pharmacovigilance regulations. The VIE program is available to EU citizens aged 18–28;
applications must be submitted in English.

Responsibilities

- Serve as the Pharmacovigilance Specialist for Sanofi products.
- Maintain Pharmacovigilance Operating & Safety Management.
- Monitor incoming communications to detect and manage pharmacovigilance data in a timely manner.
- Track pharmacovigilance requirements for global, regional, and local programs.
- Contribute to education and training on pharmacovigilance within the local organization.
- Generate compliance metrics.
- Collaborate with in‑country partner functions.
- Work with regional teams on the management of the local pharmacovigilance system.
- Process pharmacovigilance data.
- Translate medical texts into English.
- Support the implementation of current departmental projects.

Requirements

- 1–2 years experience in a similar role.




- Knowledge of international and national pharmacovigilance regulations and industry standards.
- Good knowledge of medical terminology (asset).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Sense of urgency and adherence to safety rules and global procedures.
- Ability to work in international and transversal teams.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, punctuality, diligence, and the ability to set priorities under time pressure.
- University degree in Medical Doctor, Pharmacist, Health Sciences, Veterinarian, Biologist, or other medical/scientific background.
- Fluent English (written and verbal). Italian an advantage.
