Optify Search are currently partnered with a leading global manufacturer of specialty ingredients, who are looking to hire a Technical Business Development Manager to support the continued growth of their specialty chemicals and personal care portfolio across Europe. Responsibilities Drive commercial growth across key strategic accounts, developing long-term partnerships and expanding market share Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, positioning the business as a trusted partner in innovation and formulation development Identify and develop new business opportunities through consultative engagement around market trends, product performance, and customer needs Work cross-functionally with internal teams including R&D;, Product Management, Marketing, and Supply Chain to deliver successful projects and aligned account strategies Support customers on technical discussions related to formulations and ingredient applications Represent the business at industry events, trade shows, and technical seminars to enhance market presence Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting,



and account planning to support sustainable growth Qualifications Scientific Background: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field Industry Experience: Proven experience within FMCG company with in depth technical and formulation experience. Technical & Commercial Expertise: Strong understanding of formulations, ingredient functionality, and market dynamics , with the ability to translate technical concepts into commercial opportunities Professional Competencies: Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills Commercially driven with a strategic mindset Comfortable operating in a cross-functional, international environment Highly autonomous, proactive, and results-oriented Competitive base salary with attractive premio structure Company car and benefits package Clear progression pathway within a growing international business #J-18808-Ljbffr
