The engineer will support the development of bcooling performance /b for commercial vehicle programs. /p pThe ideal candidate is highly skilled in bStar‑CCM+ /b, bANSA /b, and at least one 1D simulation tool such as bAmesim /b,b GT‑Power /b, or similar, and is capable of balancing numerical simulations with experimental correlation, documentation, and cross‑functional alignment. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3CFD Simulation Numerical Analysis (about 40%) /h3 ul liPerform advanced CFD studies for: engine cooling. /li liConduct geometry preparation and high‑quality meshing using ANSA/star‑ccm+. /li liSet up, run, and post‑process simulations using Star‑CCM+. /li liAnalyze KPIs, identify performance gaps, propose engineering improvements. /li /ul h31D Cooling System Modeling /h3 ul liDevelop and maintain 1D models for cooling system sizing loops. /li liUse Amesim, GT‑Power, or equivalent tools at an expert level. /li liIntegrate 1D results with CFD outcomes to support system‑level decisions. /li liPerform sensitivity analyses and scenario assessments. /li liParticipate in on‑road testing campaigns for data collection and model validation. /li liContribute to climatic chamber tests on roller benches. /li liExecute structured correlation processes to improve model accuracy.
/li /ul h3Methodology Development (about 10%) /h3 ul liEnhance CFD and 1D modeling methodologies, best practices, and automation. /li liImprove correlation procedures and validation frameworks. /li liCollaborate with CAE specialists to evolve simulation capabilities. /li /ul h3Reporting, Validation Planning Cross‑Functional Collaboration /h3 ul liPrepare detailed technical reports, one‑page summaries, and presentations. /li liMaintain VVP (Virtual Validation Plan) and DVP (Development Validation Plan). /li liCollaborate with VIRs (Vehicle Integration Responsible). /li liSupport design discussions with simulation and validation insights. /li /ul h3Required Qualifications /h3 ul liDegree in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace Engineering, or related fields. /li li7–12 years of experience in simulation and vehicle performance. /li liMandatory proficiency in Star‑CCM+, ANSA, and 1D tools (Amesim, GT‑Power). /li liStrong background in aerodynamics, cooling, HVAC, and thermal management. /li liWillingness to travel. /li /ul h3Soft Skills /h3 ul liStrong analytical thinking. /li liExcellent communication and technical writing. /li liAbility to work cross‑functionally. /li liProactive and organized. /li /ul h3Nice to Have /h3 ul liExperience climatic wind tunnel operations. /li liKnowledge of co‑simulation approaches. /li liExperience in OEM or Tier‑1 environments. /li /ul h3Salary Range /h3 /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
