Application System Administrator

- Manage SaaS OBS environments and operate interfaces to and from OBS (Objectway Banking Suite)
- Monitor and control daily and end-of-day processing
- Provide software to customers and support them with releases
- Collaborate with the core banking development team, project management, and client support teams
- Help ensure compliance with SLAs, internal and customer specifications, and legal requirements
- Coordinate tests and carry them out when required

Requirements

- Completed studies or equivalent practical IT/banking training
- Solid knowledge of Linux operating-system administration and Windows Server
- Solid ANSI SQL knowledge and experience with Oracle database administration
- Experience with data centres, including infrastructure setup and operation
- Solid Shell scripting knowledge and experience with Python, Perl, C, C++, or Java
- Experience in IT support, software packaging, and software delivery systems
- Understanding of automation, continuous integration, and build tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills and customer-oriented approach
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with cross-site, functional teams
- Organisational skills and ability to work under time pressure
- Agile mindset and experience with Jira and Confluence
- Experience in project work




- Confident use of Microsoft Office products
- Fluent English and good German language skills are desirable
- Willingness to work occasionally outside normal business hours or on weekends for special tasks
