Offer Description

Construction of the expression vectors for specific pathogenic variants of human RNase 5, followed by the expression and purification of the variants and the native enzyme.
Structural and kinetic characterization of the purified RNase 5 variants, and assessment of their propensity for oligomerization.
Evaluation of the effects of the mutations at the cellular level through the overexpression of the variants m a neuronal cell line.

For admission to the selection process referred to in Art. 1, potential candidates must fulfil the following requirements:
a) PhD in biomedical field;
b) Possession of a scientific-disciplinary curriculum suitable for carrying out the research activity envisaged in this announcement;
c) Knowledge of the following foreign language: English;
d) Other requirements:



documented research and/or development experience in the disciplinary sector: BIOS-07/A - Biochemistry.
