Basic Qualifications8+ years of engineering experienceExperience with DFx (Design for cost, test, manufacturing)BS in Mechanical,
Robotics or Mechatronics Engineering (or similar field)SolidWorks or similar CAD experience, understanding of best practices for part design, advanced assemblies and complex configuration managementHands on experience crafting proof-of-concept models and prototypesExperience mentoring and developing junior engineersThorough understanding of technical principals, theories and concepts in hardware development and ability to apply them to product designExtensive system design experience interfacing with a wide array of electro?mechanical subsystems and associated debugging experienceStrong organizational and planning skillsDesire to work in a fast?paced environment and customer focusedAbility to effectively communicate concepts and write technical documentsExperience with full product lifecycle and proficiency at completing tasks to meet milestonesExperience evaluating design, performance and logistical tradeoffs for hardware systemsAbility to support domestic and international travel as required by the programDesire and energy to work in a fast?paced agile environmentPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree in robotics, mechanical / mechatronics engineering,
