PpUTA seeks a Senior Software Development Manager to lead engineering execution for our enterprise financial systems. This role is responsible for building and scaling the applications that power payments, invoicing, revenue recognition, and deal execution across the company. You will drive technical strategy, lead system design, and ensure the delivery of reliable, secure, and compliant backend services. This is a hands-on engineering leadership role—focused on execution, architecture, and cross-functional delivery across AWS infrastructure and enterprise systems such as NetSuite, Salesforce, and banking/payment platforms. /p h3What You Will Do /h3 ul liPlatform Engineering Architecture – Own the design and development of scalable backend services for payments, revenue recognition, and financial workflows /li liPlatform Engineering Architecture – Lead end-to-end development of backend services (Node.js, GraphQL, PostgreSQL) and frontend applications (React, TypeScript) /li liPlatform Engineering Architecture – Design APIs, data models, and UI integrations to deliver cohesive financial tools and internal dashboards /li liPlatform Engineering Architecture – Provide full-stack ownership across key financial systems /li liPlatform Engineering Architecture – Lead integrations across the enterprise deal-to-cash ecosystem- ingesting deals from upstream domain/producer systems, and publishing fulfillment events to downstream settlement and finance systems /li liPlatform Engineering Architecture – Define service boundaries, reliability SLAs, and domain models aligned with high-volume financial operations /li liPlatform Engineering Architecture – Architect cloud-native systems on AWS using Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, SQS, CloudWatch, and EventBridge /li /ul h3Security Engineering Compliance /h3 ul liEmbed security-first principles across system design, architecture, and development /li liImplement defense-in-depth strategies, including fine-grained IAM, encryption at rest and in transit, and auditable data flows /li liDesign secure workflows for financial transactions, client data,
and third-party integrations /li liPartner with InfoSec to ensure alignment with zero-trust models, least-privilege access, and continuous monitoring /li liLead efforts in service hardening, secure CI/CD pipelines, secret management, and proactive risk mitigation /li liEnsure all platform components meet internal controls and compliance standards /li /ul h3Leadership Execution /h3 ul liManage and grow a high-performing team of backend and platform engineers /li liDrive roadmap execution and delivery of complex, cross-functional initiatives /li liFoster a culture of engineering excellence, operational discipline, and ownership /li liServe as the technical escalation point for architectural trade-offs, production challenges, and system design /li /ul h3Collaboration Technical Execution /h3 ul liPartner with product managers, architects, external vendors, and finance stakeholders to deliver end-to-end features /li liTranslate financial and contractual rules into deterministic, reusable service logic /li liDrive quality, automation, and performance in domains where accuracy and compliance are essential /li /ul h3What You Will Need /h3 ul li10+ years of engineering experience, including 3+ years leading backend/platform teams or delivering complex financial systems /li liExpertise in backend engineering with Node.js, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL (or equivalent) /li liStrong background in AWS architecture /li liFamiliarity with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) /li liExperience with event-driven systems and microservice architectures /li liProven track record delivering systems with high audit/compliance requirements /li liFamiliarity with enterprise platforms like NetSuite, Salesforce, Concur,
