Ph3TECHNICAL MANAGER - ELECTRONICS EMBEDDED SYSTEMS /h3pAt the heart of product innovation (gate automation, access control, smart home), within the Engineering office located in Schio, we are looking for a bTechnical Manager /b to manage the electronics department. /ppThe activities carried out in this office involve the design and integration of hardware (HW) and firmware (FW) for the development of automation systems for residential access. /ppWe are seeking a dynamic individual, capable of building and enabling positive professional relationships. We are looking for someone with a strong background in the development of electronic HW and FW for embedded systems, and who has a passion for managing a professional team of electronic and firmware designers. /ppReporting to the Platform Manager, you will be responsible for delivering robust, connected, and industrialized electronic solutions, ensuring performance, reliability, and cost competitiveness. /ph3KEY RESPONSIBILITIES /h3h3Technical leadership: /h3ulliValidate design choices (cost, performance, robustness) done by technical Engineers; /liliInterface with product marketing and System Engineers to translate needs into technical solutions; /liliCollaborate with software, cloud, and IoT teams; /liliEnsure quality and repeatability in high-volume production; /liliGuarantee product maintenance in serial life conditions; /liliActively participate to the continuous improvement tools, methodologies standards of the technical profession; /li /ulh3Team Management: /h3ulliLead and develop the team (roles, responsibilities, skill development); /liliCreate and drive individual and team development plans (EMC, RF, low power,
safety); /liliEmpower teams in cross-functional collaborations and cooperation, support and motivate team members in achieving project goals; /liliActively contribute to recruitment; /liliEnsure compliance with standards (e.g., activity monitoring with designers, in-person meetings, design reviews). /li /ulh3MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS /h3ulliMaster’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or equivalent; /lili5-10 years of prior experience in firmware and/or hardware development for embedded systems in industrial environments (high-volume products); /lili3-5 years of team management experience within electronics technical offices; /liliFluent professional English – (French is a nice to have). /li /ulh3TECHNICAL SKILLS /h3ulliKnowledge of microcontroller-based embedded systems, C programming language, and hands‑on experience managing “System On Module” systems through serial interfaces and APIs; /liliAnalog, digital, and power electronics (motor control, power supply); /liliPCB design and validation (EMC, thermal, reliability); /liliKnowledge of RF / IP protocols (e.g., Zigbee, Thread); /liliStrong understanding of industrial and manufacturing constraints; /liliStrong design-to-cost and mass production mindset; /liliNice to have: Experience in automation, motor control, access control, or smart home. /li /ulpThe position entertains multidisciplinary relationships with internal multicultural teams and external stakeholders (suppliers, subcontractors, customers), collaborating with Project Management Office, Quality, Test Lab and Industrialization teams.
