Join us to make your contribution. /ppThis role has the responsibility of tactical and operational purchasing processes, including assurance of transactional requirements. The Buyer, Regional Category serves as a contact window for suppliers based in region and is also responsible for daily operational tasks like supply issues, RFQ execution, etc. /ph3Your Impact /h3ulliSupport purchasing budget definitions. /liliEnsure regional and/or local compliance. /liliInform Manager, Category (CM) about market trends and developments- Negotiate with regional suppliers in agreement with CM /liliManage RFQs, Bid Analysis and supplier recommendations in agreement with CM /liliExecute supplier visits / audits with Supplier Quality Engineers. /liliConduct cost analysis activities with Cost Analysis Team; Support commodity reporting and performance measurement /liliAssist global tenders, regular audits and supplier evaluations; manage everyday communication with suppliers. /liliCarry out contract management, incl. contract data maintenance. /liliManage Engineering Change Process in production phase. /liliTroubleshooting (support technical and time-critical ad-hoc requests / requirements) /li /ulh3Your Experience and Qualifications /h3ulliAt least 5 years' experience in purchasing, knowledge in Plastic Rubber processes will be appreciated. /liliStrong analytical skills with ability to execute operationally /liliLeverage supplier process knowledge for contract negotiations and continuous improvement opportunities.
