Digital Content and Media Technical Instructor
Join our Digital and Technology Team and play a key role in supporting teaching, performances, and events across the University. You'll provide specialist technical expertise, maintain industry-standard facilities, and help create exceptional learning experiences for students.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for Drama, Dance, Acting, and other creative disciplines.
- Support conferences,
performances, and internal and external events.
- Support teaching, rehearsals, assessments, and public performances.
- Deliver technical workshops and one-to-one student support.
- Advise academic staff on technical solutions.
- Maintain lighting, sound, video, and stage equipment.
- Work with Estates, Events, and Digital & Technology teams to deliver high-quality services.
- Carry out equipment maintenance, PAT testing, and maintain technical records.
- Maintain venue specifications and support digital signage across campus.
- Support occasional evening and weekend events.
What You'll Do
No two days are the same. You could be delivering technical workshops, supporting student performances, advising academics, supporting the tech for a conference and event, preparing venues for commercial hire, or maintaining specialist performance facilities.
