As a QA Tester in the accountancy sector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
- Collaborate with developers and project managers to understand project scope and requirements.
- Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionalities remain unaffected by new changes.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on quality assurance best practices.
- Assist in the development of automated testing processes to improve efficiency.
- Prepare and present test reports to stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in software testing, preferably in the accountancy or finance sector.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in using testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, or similar.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
