PpJob Purpose/RoleBased in Milan and reporting to the Risk Engineering Team, you will be in charge of developing and executing the strategy for the Constructions and Corporate Client risks into the Italian market. With strong ties to the Group, you will also support the local strategy to ensure the successful achievement of the Allianz Mid Corporate targets. You will be also the contact person for agents and/or brokers working with the Risk Engineering Team. /p /brh3Key Responsibilities /h3 /brul /brliEnsure underwriters comply with underwriting authority, pricing and rating guidelines /li /brliSteer and control the portfolio at local level in conjunction with the Head of Engineering to drive the achievement of financial targets /li /brliProactively liaise with functional areas to review performance of end to end underwriting life cycle /li /brliWork closely with Sales departments, Risk Consulting, Claims and other product lines to achieve key marketing strategies, including cross-selling /li /brliEnsure underwriting consistency and underwriting discipline and adherence to all corporate guidelines and authority levels, including Rules and Principles, Underwriting Authorities,
corporate governance rules and local regulatory framework /li /brliProactively support the development and implementation of new and/or modified products /li /brliSupport the acquisition of new business and retention of existing business (including agent and broker negotiations) /li /brliCommunicate local business strategy externally /li /br /ul /brh3Key Requirements/Skills/Experience /h3 /brul /brliMaster's degree in Industrial, Civil, Construction or Mechanical Engineering /li /brliFrom 3 to 7 years of proven experience in underwriting profitable Risk Engineering for corporate and construction risks as well as Engineering Professional Firms /li /brliProven leadership skills /li /brliExpertise in risk assessment and a firm understanding of policy administration life cycle /li /brliSound knowledge of pricing, together with strong market analysis skills /li /brliIdeally experience in designing, developing, and implementing consistent and robust wordings /li /brliIdeally experience /li /br /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
