Ground Sys_2026 /ph3Your Tasks /h3ulliDefinition of ground segment design, development and programmatic framework /liliDefinition and justification of S/S architecture, from concept to detailed design phase /liliDefinition and control of S/S technical interfaces, internal and external /liliDefinition and control of system technical budget and margins /liliTechnical management of Mission Planning, Flight Dynamics, Satellite Control Center, Ground Stations, User Ground Segment /liliTechnical management of subsystems design activities down to component level /liliCompetence in communication network protocols, data transfer methods, cloud-based systems /li /ulh3Your Qualifications /h3ulliMaster's degree in Aerospace Engineering or comparable degree /liliProfessional experience of at least ten years in Ground Segment (G/S) engineering projects for space systems, in Phase C/D as mandatory /liliProfessional experience of at least five years in definition and design of S/S for EO systems for institutional and/or commercial customers /liliStrong competences in design and development of EO space /liliExperience in the definition,



management and traceability of requirements structure with the support of DOORS /liliUse of simulation and computing tools for the definition of G/S performances, e.g. STK, Python, MATLAB /liliProven capability to define G/S design throughout the support of model-based methods, techniques and tools (e.g. SysML, UML) /liliSound knowledge of ground system engineering processes, and ground system and software life cycles /liliSound knowledge of relevant ECSS standards /liliExcellent conceptual and analytical skills /liliAbility to devise creative solutions and think out of the box /liliProven heritage and attitude for problem solving and project team xrdztoy management /liliHigh level of flexibility, willingness to work in international teams and ability to keep tight schedules /liliHigh motivation, proactive working approach and strong sense of responsibility /liliExcellent communication, presentation and documentation skills /liliFluency in both spoken and written (Business) English, Italian skills are desirable /li /ulpThe gross annual remuneration package will be determined based on the degree of alignment between the candidate's profile and the requirements of the role, as well as the level of professional experience acquired.
