Position
Farm Produce Department Clerk – Monza (MB)
Responsibilities
- Greet customers with a smile, assist in product selection, and provide detailed information on fruit and vegetable quality and origin.
- Maintain and restock the produce counter, keeping it organized and inviting.
- Monitor inventory levels and orders, track expiry dates, and ensure proper rotation of products.
- Maintain high cleaning standards in the department following HACCP procedures, and dispose of damaged or expired items correctly.
- Prepare produce (washing, cutting, packaging) using equipment such as scales, slicers, and knives safely and efficiently.
Requirements
- Teamwork skills and professional, courteous customer interaction.
- Attention to detail and ability to uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Availability to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Good communication skills and customer orientation.
- HACCP certification preferred.
