Technical Support Specialist

In this role you provide 24x7 technical support for AP staff and external clients, tackling issues across devices, software, and cloud services. You will work with global teams, assisting with API setups, elections applications, and deployment across Windows, macOS, mobile devices, and office equipment. Your work enables smooth operations during events and relocations, supporting critical media workflows. You will drive problem resolution, user account management, and portal access, contributing to AP’s reliable technology services.
- Assist external clients with API setups
- Support elections setups and related applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues for Azure, Intune, SCCM and deployment tools
- Deploy and support MAC and PC hardware
- Deploy mobile devices and support iOS/Android
- Set up photo/video equipment
- Manage staff accounts, passwords, and distribution lists
- Provide portal and eAP system access administration for external clients
- Support video technology and services for external clients and staff
- Adjust customer entitlements as needed
- Generate API keys and welcome letters
- Troubleshoot issues with cloud-based applications (Amazon, Microsoft)
- Support third-party collaboration tools
- Track support activities in AP tools
- Troubleshoot printers, conference rooms, VPN, Wi‑Fi, and VOIP
- Provide peer-to-peer training as needed
- Contribute to special projects; travel may be required
- Assist with bureau relocations and setup
- 1+ year of customer support experience
- College or technical degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff and global teams
- Team player with ability to multi-task and meet priorities
- Familiarity with content management integrations and vendor solutions
- Experience with Windows and macOS
- Understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, SMTP, NNTP
- Knowledge of video/audio tech is a plus
- Experience with XML is a plus
- Knowledge of Salesforce and EasyVista is a plus
