Purpose
As Technology Project lead you support the enhancement of SBM’s competitive advantage, by developing new technologies and concepts aligned with the SBM and SBM Technology strategy. In addition you conduct and coordinate engineering activities in support of specific proposals, technology studies or (pre-)FEEDs.
You contribute to the identification of cost effective innovations and developments and are accountable for proactively planning and completing activities and deliverables, as well as for ensuring appropriate internal hand-over.
Responsibilities
As Technology Project Lead you take up the responsibility to:
Develop ideas into concepts thru studies, through definition of scope of work to come up with the optimal solution
Solve problems by involving and challenging other engineering teams, interact with proposal & framing teams and interact with Business Development on the studies
Review data, perform analytics and prepare presentations and suggestions in your expertise area
Deliver studies in line with KPIs
In larger study teams you cooperate with the technology Project Engineer and report to the Technology Project Manager
Education
BSc or MSc in the relevant area
Experience
At least 10 years relevant experience as Engineer both in country as well as experience on construction and / or operational(or test) sites. 5 years experience in managing Engineering teams
Commercial
Detailed design
Inspection, testing, commissioning and monitoring
Package engineering and manufacturing
Business Acumen
