Progress Rail Signaling Spa is looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Project Engineer.
The position is based in Italy and it’s open to our offices in Pistoia, Roma, Genova and Bologna.

Job Purpose
Manage the technical contractual scope of the project and functionally lead the project engineering team.
Job duties (Responsibilities and Accountabilities)
Manage the technical contractual scope of the project:
- Be accountable for the customer acceptance of the project solution, directly interfacing the customer technical reference for the project;
- Manage the project technical risks and the corresponding mitigation plan;
- Together with the Project Manager, in case of contractual scope evolution, rise variation order and manage the approval with the Change Control Board, using the appropriate procedures;
- Validate the technical design choices with the peers (Eg: V&V; Manager), the AE Technical Advisor and the Product Development (R&D;) Direction;
- Identify which are the applicable regulations in the customer country and ensure they are taken into account in project solution design;
