UTA seeks a Senior Software Development Manager to lead engineering execution for our enterprise financial systems. This role is responsible for building and scaling the applications that power payments, invoicing, revenue recognition, and deal execution across the company. You will drive technical strategy, lead system design, and ensure the delivery of reliable, secure, and compliant backend services. This is a hands-on engineering leadership role—focused on execution, architecture, and cross-functional delivery across AWS infrastructure and enterprise systems such as Net Suite, Salesforce, and banking/payment platforms. What You Will Do Platform Engineering & Architecture – Own the design and development of scalable backend services for payments, revenue recognition, and financial workflows Platform Engineering & Architecture – Lead end-to-end development of backend services (Node.js, Graph QL, Postgre SQL) and frontend applications (React, Type Script) Platform Engineering & Architecture – Design APIs, data models,
and UI integrations to deliver cohesive financial tools and internal dashboards Platform Engineering & Architecture – Provide full-stack ownership across key financial systems Platform Engineering & Architecture – Lead integrations across the enterprise deal-to-cash ecosystem- ingesting deals from upstream domain/producer systems, and publishing fulfillment events to downstream settlement and finance systems Platform Engineering & Architecture – Define service boundaries, reliability SLAs, and domain models aligned with high-volume financial operations Platform Engineering & Architecture – Architect cloud-native systems on AWS using Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, SQS, Cloud Watch, and Event Bridge Security Engineering & Compliance Embed security-first principles across system design, architecture, and development Implement defense-in-depth strategies, including fine-grained IAM, encryption at rest and in transit, and auditable data flows Design secure workflow
