Job Title: Junior/Mid-Level IT Network Engineer Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Tempo pieno Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: None Type of Travel: None The Opportunity: We are seeking a dedicated Junior to Mid-Level Network Engineer to support critical national security network infrastructures. The ideal candidate will assist in the configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of secure LAN/WAN environments. You will work alongside senior engineers to ensure high availability, security, and performance of classified networks, directly supporting mission-critical operations. Responsibilities: Network Operations: Assist in the configuration, installation, and maintenance of network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Brocade). Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor network performance utilizing enterprise management tools (such as Solar Winds) and provide Tier II/III troubleshooting support to resolve connectivity and operational issues. Security Compliance:



Implement and maintain network security protocols, ensuring compliance with Do D Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs). COMSEC Management: Assist with the handling, configuration, and maintenance of cryptographic devices (e.g., KG series) and secure communications equipment. Documentation: Create and update detailed network topology diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and configuration records. System Integration: Collaborate with systems administrators to ensure seamless integration across Windows, Linux, and VMware v Sphere environments. Qualifications: Required: Education: BS Engineering or related field Clearance: Must possess an active TS/SCI security clearance. Experience: Minimum 3 years of practical experience in network administration or engineering, preferably within a Do D or highly regulated environment.
