This is a 6-month internship designed to provide hands‑on experience in editorial work, digital publishing, and communications within a leading fashion education institution. You’ll develop professional skills in content creation, editorial collaboration, and brand communications under close mentorship from the Editor and Content Writer of Polimoda’s Journal, the online magazine that comes from the heart of Florence’s fashion school.

You’ll learn by doing: from pitching your first article idea to seeing it published on our platforms, from writing your first creative brief to organizing photography and digital media. We’re here to guide you, and help you grow as a writer, editor, and communications professional. By the end of this internship, you’ll have contributed to your portfolio, developed editorial judgment, and gained real‑world experience in fashion communications.

Skills You’ll Develop

Content Creation & Development
- Propose and write original articles for Polimoda’s Journal
- Techniques for generating creative ideas for content across multiple formats




- Professional proofreading and editing practices
- Copywriting for diverse communications channels
- Research methods and interview preparation

Digital Publishing & Production
- How to support an Editor in organizing a digital publication
- WordPress: layout, formatting, and publishing workflows
- Image selection and curation with attention to aesthetics and brand alignment
- Participating effectively in creative brainstorming sessions
- Working within an editorial team environment
