A Logistics Supervisor job is available with the City of Fort Worth Logistic department with the Fort Worth Fire Department. The department ensures ambulances remain fully stocked, compliant, and ready for service. The Logistics Department is responsible for managing all medical supplies and equipment for the ambulance fleet.
Primary duties include:
Monitoring expiration dates of medications and supplies
Maintaining accurate inventory counts and stock levels
Ensuring availability of essential supplies for operations
Receiving, inspecting, and processing supply orders
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in business administration, purchasing, accounting or related field
Four (4) years of prior EMS logistics, inventory management, warehouse operations, or supply chain operations experience required
One (1) year of administrative and/or lead supervisory experience
Valid Texas Driver’s License
Must be able to drive an ambulance and have a driving record in compliance with policy regarding insurability
Must pass Drug Screen, Physical
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience with vendor relationship management
Knowledge of medical terminology, medications, and equipment
Experience with managing multiple supply locations
