Within this mission, the Population and Medical Genetics programme within the Genomics Research Centre investigates how heritable genetic information translates into phenotypic traits and causes specific defects.
We are seeking a Research Administrator to coordinate and manage administrative tasks related to the centre’s activities. The role includes overseeing operational processes, placing and tracking purchase orders in SAP, managing calendars and scheduling, organizing events and meetings, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures. This position acts as the main administrative point of contact for research teams,
managing both internal and external communications, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the research centre.
Your mission
Provide administrative and operational support to the Head and to centre research activities, ensuring efficient workflows, calendar management, and communication.
Coordinate meetings, events, and travel logistics, supporting workshops, conferences, collaborations and facilitate logistics for international academic visitors and external research collaborators.
Support team activities such as recruitment, onboarding, and preparation of documents, reports, and presentations.
Maintain accurate financial records, track expenditures, and assist with budget monitoring and financial reporting.
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communication related to the research areas.
Liaise with research teams, department heads, and external partners to ensure alignment of a
