About the Role
The resource will ensure accurate management of general accounting, indirect tax compliance, and statutory reporting for assigned Group entities, ensuring compliance with regulations, Group policies, and closing deadlines.
The role also supports process standardization and efficiency initiatives within the Accounting & Tax CoE.
Main responsibilities will be:
Manage the general ledger for one or more Group companies, including accruals, provisions, depreciation, closing entries, and complex balance sheet/P&L; reconciliations;
Ensure timely monthly closings, monitor outstanding and temporary accounts, and prepare F24 tax payments;
Support the preparation of statutory financial statements and disclosures, ensuring compliance with accounting, audit, and regulatory requirements;
Maintain statutory accounting records and provide documentation for internal and external audits;
Manage VAT compliance activities, including VAT settlements, registers, LIPE reporting, annual VAT returns, and VAT refund claims;
Ensure correct VAT treatment of domestic and international transactions and support tax audits and specific tax matters;
