About the job: As an Android Developer , you will take full ownership of the development and maintenance of our mobile application's Homepage – the central hub for our users. You will also be a key contributor to exciting gamification initiatives, including our interactive advent calendar and the "catcher" (a daily scratch-card with new offers). You will work closely with product owners, designers, and other engineers to translate user needs into robust, high-performance mobile experiences. This role is ideal for someone with solid experience in Android development, a strong understanding of software engineering principles, and a desire to build engaging features in a fast paced e-commerce environment.
Important things for you: Flexible working hours in the hybrid model (4/1) - working hours start between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. We also have 30 days of occasional remote work.
The salary range for this position depending on the skill set is as follows (contract of employment,
tax-deductible cost):
PLN 14 600 - 20 825 gross.
Annual premio based on your annual performance and company results.
Our team is based in Poznań.
What you'll do: Design, develop, test, and deploy features for the Allegro Android , ensuring high quality, performance, and responsiveness.
Collaborate with product, design, and other engineering teams to define and implement innovative solutions.
Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical discussions, and help maintain high code quality standards.
Be part of Allegro’s mobile community composed of more than 100 mobile developers. In our community, we actively share knowledge as part of our daily code review work and at dedicated company events. We have time dedicated to knowledge sharing as well as opportunities for personal skills development
Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues.
