Senior Data Sciencist - AI & Scientific Applications In this Senior Data Scientist role, you design, build, test and deploy AI-enabled solutions for scientific and healthcare workflows. You work with scientists, product managers, engineers and business stakeholders to translate complex problems into practical AI capabilities. You’ll develop scalable data pipelines, integrate AI models, and ensure robust, testable outputs that support evidence-generation and literature synthesis. You contribute to production-grade solutions while advancing AI quality and reproducibility in medical research. This role combines hands-on coding with cross-functional influence to shape impactful healthcare applications.

Design and deploy AI-powered applications for literature search, evidence synthesis, data exploration, and content generation
Build and maintain data pipelines, APIs, and AI model integrations across cloud platforms and databases
Write and review Python code; move prototypes into production; troubleshoot technical issues
Create test sets, evaluation methods, benchmarks, and validation approaches for accuracy, reproducibility, and robustness
Document assumptions, limitations, and recommended use for AI-generated outputs; guide technical decisions and mentor teammates
Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Bioinformatics, Life Sciences, or related field
5+ years of experience in data science, ML, AI, or analytics solutions
Experience building production-grade applications, services, or pipelines
Experience with Large Language Models, Generative AI, prompt design, Retrieval-Augmented Generation
Experience with APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and modern software development practices
Strong understanding of statistics, ML, data engineering, and model evaluation
Experience working with large, complex datasets
