As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer in our Research & Development team, you'll have the opportunity to merge creativity with your technical expertise by shaping the future of technology, driving groundbreaking projects, and bringing new ideas to life.
Your RoleKey responsibilities in your new role You will support the embedded software development in structured R&D; projects and in software ecosystems for prototyping.
You will contribute to innovation projects, enable software ecosystems for prototyping, collaborate with partner teams, and establish an internal/external network.
Develop, test and verify embedded software in the field of embedded system projects.
Enable Infineon MCU portfolios for Arduino, ROS and Zephyr software ecosystems.
Develop and test embedded SW libraries mainly for actuators and sensors for Infineon MCU hardware platforms.
Capture, analyze and understand requirements and break down into structured work packages.
Represent Infineon on events like trade fairs and university fairs.
Supervise working students and interns to develop your leadership skills.

You are a team player, self-learner with good communication and interpersonal skills.
A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics or a comparable discipline.
At least 2 years of professional experience in embedded software development preferred in semiconductor industry or in the field of robotics, with hands-on experience in C, C++ and Python.
