Responsibilities Technical Support Responsible for technical specialized repairs on mission- critical datacenter systems requiring sophisticated analytical problem solving techniques to identify cause. Reporting Reviews specialized contractual reports and activities. Site Maintenance Oversees the site maintenance and up keep of IBX infrastructures according to Equinix global standards.
Assess Adherence to Policy Ensures all repairs performed on all IBX infrastructure are according to the manufacturer’s guidelines and best practices Complexity & Problem Solving Aids in root cause analysis and in repair of specialized failed critical components. Collaboration & Interaction Liaises with design stakeholders on design changes. Design Validates design criteria for new principal power installations (e.g. single power source) Typical Degree & Years of Experience Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a Ph D without experience; or equivalent work experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent command of Italian and English.
