Education Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Graduate of an accredited Advance Practice nursing program with either a Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) degree or Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) degree
Experience / Qualifications AHA Certification Requirements Vary by Respective Area
NIHSS certifications vary. Holds a current license as an ARNP in the state of Florida
A minimum of 2 years of Cardiovascular Critical-Care hospital experience




Clinical expert in Cardiovascular nursing practice and in the delivery of evidence-based nursing interventions
Specialized skills to integrate care across the continuum and through three spheres of influence: patient, nurse, system
Able to create environments through mentoring and system changes that empower nurses to develop caring, evidence-based practice to alleviate patient distress, facilitate ethical decision-making and respond to diversity (The Consensus Model for APRN Regulation)
Provides a positive influence to improve outcomes and satisfaction of the patients, families, nurses, and the healthcare team
Ability to collaborate effectively as a team leader in a dynamic health care environment
Demonstrate expertise in caring for patients across the adult age continuum
