Responsibilities TikTok Shop is an innovative marketplace fully integrated into TikTok. It brings together online sellers, buyers and creators - all within TikTok to build a one-stop, seamless shopping experience and bringing more commerce solutions that further enable our community to discover and engage with what they love. We are seeking a driven and proactive Sales Development Representative (SDR) to be a critical engine for our expansion. This is a high-impact, fixed-term contract where you will identify, reach out, and onboard the next wave of high-potential sellers. And later work with these sellers to grow their GMV (Gross Merchandise Value) on our platform in close collaboration with our cross-functional teams. The right candidate would have Sales Development acumen and experience. - Proactively conduct outbound prospecting via multi-channel (email, phone, social)
outbound campaigns to source and qualify high-potential seller-partners.
- Lead initial pitches to understand seller needs, translating the unique value of TikTok Shop into compelling, tailored propositions for them.
- Assess seller fit to confirm potential partners, ensuring strong platform fit, identifying the seller growth strategies, and clear pathways to GMV growth.
- Support end-to-end seller onboarding, registration, account setup, and activation of new sellers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure continued support for onboarded sellers. Including merchant navigation through their growth on the platform.
- Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly targets related to seller acquisition and seller GMV growth within a 3-6 months period.
- Understand the TikTok Shop platform, the competition, and our unique positioning in the industry.
