Exciting Opportunity for a Data Engineer in the Mining Sector
Location: Democratic Republic of the Congo
Are you a skilled Data Engineer ready to make a significant impact in the dynamic world of mining operations? Look no further! We're seeking a talented individual to join the team in Congo, contributing to groundbreaking projects that shape the future of the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the databases maintain architectural integrity and efficiency.
- Verify operational technologies, systems, and necessary infrastructure compatibility.
- Validate that the architecture aligns with business needs.
- Create and deploy scalable systems to support future growth of data solutions.
- Oversee the ETL process (Extract, Transform, Load) to enhance and integrate data value chains.
Key Requirements:
- University degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification in Project Management: PMI-PM,
Agile, Prince-2, or equivalent.
- Data Engineering Certification: Azure, IBM, AWS, Google, Databricks, Snow Pro, and more.
- At least 5 years' experience in mining operations, understanding the unique challenges and intricacies of the field.
- At least 5 years' experience in data engineering, with a proven track record of implementing robust data solutions.
- At least 5 years' experience in change program, digital project management, digital transformation, etc.
- Must be fluent in French and English (Congolese national)
