A day in the life: The Indirect Tax Analyst at Monster Energy is essential in driving indirect tax compliance at MEB. Key responsibilities include maintaining systems for accurate tax calculations, executing and reviewing tax routines such as ICMS/ICMS-ST, PIS, COFINS, ISS, and WHT, developing controls and documenting procedures,
and providing expert support and guidance on tax-related matters to other departments and stakeholders. The impact you'll make: Assist in the systems maintenance to guarantee the correct tax calculation Perform and review all indirect tax routines, including tax calculations, tax returns, and other compliance obligations related to ICMS/ICMS-ST (Tax on the Circulation of Goods and Services), PIS (federal social contribution calculated as a percentage of revenue), COFINS (monthly federal social assistance contribution Create controls to be used by the tax department. Follow up on tax legislation changes and apply them accordingly to MEB operations. Renew and control Tax Debts Certificates. Give tax support and orientation to other departments, vendors, suppliers and peers.
