It sits within a broader package that reflects the overall value of the roleWhy you should join:The R&D; Product Development Engineer (Tooling) will be part of a team responsible for developing industrial termination machines for the appliance industry.These machines are used for the high-volume production of wire harnesses, integrating wires, connectors, and terminals in automated manufacturing processes.Your main tasks:Lead machine development projects throughout the full lifecycle, from concept definition to design, validation, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning.Act as the technical lead for assigned projects,



coordinating cross-functional teams.Drive innovation by identifying new technologies and industry trends to enhance product competitiveness.Develop machines that meet customer and market requirements for performance, quality, cost, reliability, and lead time.Collaborate with global suppliers and development partners, including review and approval of supplier designs.Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards, including CE requirements.Lead problem-solving, root-cause analysis, and risk assessment activities, including FMEA, to ensure robust and reliable machine designs.Give on-site support to machine testing, troubleshooting, installation, startup, and commissioning.Prepare and maintain technical specifications, design documentation, and detailed mechanical drawings.Review designs to ensure technical feasibility, manufacturability, maintainability, and cost-effectiveness.Your ideal background:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.More than 3 years of experi
