Role Description The Chef De Partie is a full-time, on-site position based in the Florence, Italy Metropolitan Area. This role is responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring dishes are prepared and presented to the restaurant’s standards. Daily tasks include organizing mise en place, cooking and plating menu items, monitoring food quality, and maintaining cleanliness and safety in the work area. The Chef De Partie collaborates with the Head Chef and kitchen team, supports stock control and ordering,



and helps train junior staff. The role requires consistent execution during service, adherence to recipes and hygiene regulations, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Qualifications
Professional culinary training or equivalent experience in a similar Chef De Partie or line cook role
Strong skills in Italian cuisine techniques, including pasta, sauces, and traditional Italian dishes
Solid knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and kitchen health regulations
Ability to manage a designated kitchen section, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently during busy service
Experience collaborating within a kitchen brigade and supporting the training of junior team members
Attention to detail in food preparation, plating, and portion control
Basic understanding of stock management, portion costing, and minimizing food waste
