About the Role
For our Ferrero HQs in Luxembourg we are looking for Legal Counsel for Procurement & Hazelnut Company within Legal the Procurement & HCoLegal Competence Center. The role will provide close support to ensure that the business, legal and compliance objectives are met in a timely and effective manner. You will also be expected to advise, mitigate and resolve legal issues and risks and to lead the co-ordination of the legal function’s regional teams in relation to the areas of responsibility, working closely with key stakeholders to foster collaboration across various Company related functions and relevant Legal Competence Centers.
Main Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will involve negotiating and drafting various agreements , reviewing existing contracts, and assisting internal stakeholders in contract negotiations. Additionally, you'll offer guidance and training to business units and Functional Boards on legal policies, including antitrust laws and anti-bribery and corruption regulations. You'll be resolving disputes with suppliers, purchasers,
and service providers, managing complex litigation claims, and overseeing legal risk and compliance deployment. This includes developing and leading in-house training programs on compliance topics such as Anti-Trust, Confidentiality, and Anti-Bribery and Corruption. Moreover, you'll contribute to project management initiatives, and effectively manage external counsel and third-party consultancy, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value for the business. Additionally, you'll oversee litigations in the countries, collaborating with external counsels and escalating pertinent matters as needed.
About You
You bring your university degree in Law and 5-7 years of post-qualified experience, ideally acquired in a legal firm or in-house, preferably within FMCG or retail industries and in a cross-matrix organizational structure.
