This is an individual contributor role first, with the possible future opportunity to mentor and shape a design team as we grow.
You'll be the single owner of Product Design , setting the bar for UI quality, consistency, and product impact, and working closely with Product and Engineering.
Responsibilities
Own end-to-end product design across core and new initiatives;
Set a high bar for UI quality and usability;
Evolve and protect our design system for scalable growth;
Collaborate deeply with Engineering, designing with real technical constraints and trade-offs in mind;




Partner with Product to translate vision and data into strong UX decisions;
Design product-led growth flows (activation, adoption, retention);
Mentor junior designers as the team grows;
Lead by influence: setting standards, giving strong design critique, and raising the design bar without formal authority.
Requirements
Very strong UI skills and attention to consistency;
Proven experience in B2B, data-heavy products;
Strong collaboration record with engineering teams;
Advanced Figma skills (incl. Figma Make);
Experience working with and scaling design system;
Product-minded and impact-driven;
Open to feedback: takes critique without taking it personally and gives feedback just as readily;
Leads with curiosity: asks "why" before designing "how", challenges assumptions with data, and designs interfaces that are as effective as they are beautiful;
Role requires tax residency in Portugal;
Fluency in Eng
