DescriptionAmazon's Legal Department is looking for a talented technology lawyer to support Amazon Web Services (AWS) in selling to commercial and public sector customers throughout the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region, with a primary focus on supporting AWS sales in Italy and Southern Europe. AWS is at the forefront of the cloud computing industry, providing AI and IT infrastructure services, such as on-demand compute capacity, storage, content delivery, database services, and more to private and public sector customers.

Key job responsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for drafting, negotiating, and advising on strategic technology service agreements with enterprise customers, public sector customers, and partners, as well as providing legal support for local and regional services and initiatives.



The role will also involve ongoing legal counsel and regulatory interpretation and guidance for senior executives and other business and legal team members on a variety of product development, operational, security, compliance, data protection and public policy matters. The role includes participating in other legal team projects, including managing legal issues that arise in existing relationships and handling customer and business partner inquiries. We are looking for a candidate who is proactive, entrepreneurial, enjoys being challenged, has strong technology and communication skills, and demonstrates sound, pragmatic judgment in ambiguous situations.
The applicable collective agreement for this role is for employees of Telecommunication Sector. The position is classified at level 7 or above, depending on the candidate's skills, competences and experience.
