Software Quality Assurance Specialist (Quality Champion)
What You Will Do
- Act as the quality reference for one or more software product teams
- Support teams in tailoring and applying the RFOC software development and quality processes
- Help define and track quality milestones (reviews, test readiness, release readiness, KPIs, etc.)
- Contribute to process compliance with internal procedures and applicable safety/security requirements
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits (preparation of evidence, follow‑up of actions)
- Review key work products (requirements, design, tests, reports) from a quality perspective
- Promote best practices (reviews, test strategy, traceability, configuration management, CI/CD, automation)
- Collaborate closely with developers, project leaders and other stakeholders to balance effort and quality goals
- Contribute to continuous improvement of our processes, methods and tools, based on feedback and lessons learned
Who You Are
- You have a background in software (e.g. Software Engineer, Embedded Developer, Tester, System Engineer)
and a good understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Experience in software quality assurance, process, audits or safety/security is a plus; otherwise you show strong motivation to learn and grow quickly in this direction.
- You are comfortable discussing technical topics (e.g. requirements, design, tests, code) with development teams.
- You have a structured and analytical mindset, with attention to detail and a focus on reliability and robustness.
- You demonstrate strong communication and relational skills and you enjoy working transversally with multiple teams.
- You are able to negotiate and influence to find realistic compromises between quality, effort and planning.
- You are curious, open to feedback and willing to continuously improve both your skills and the way we work.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required; French or other languages are a plus depending
