Mechanical Critical Environment Manager at Data4 About the role As a Mechanical Critical Environment Manager at Data4, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the mechanical systems that support our critical environments. This position is essential for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our data centers located in Cornaredo, Lombardy. You will be responsible for managing the design, implementation, and maintenance of mechanical systems that are crucial for optimal data center operations. Your expertise will help us maintain our commitment to providing high-quality services while adhering to safety and environmental standards. Oversee the maintenance and operation of HVAC systems, chillers,



and other critical mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance. Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of mechanical systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical and structural engineers, to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly into overall data center designs. Conduct regular audits and inspections of mechanical systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices. Analyze system performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary modifications or upgrades. Manage vendor relationships and oversee procurement processes for mechanical equipment and services. Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and maintenance staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
